Job Description

Premier Event Staff is hiring professional, reliable Event Staff to support a multi-day convention in Philadelphia, PA from April 7–10.

This is a W-2 position with structured scheduling, onsite leadership, and professional service standards. Team members will support guest-facing operations including registration, wayfinding, and general event assistance.

Travel from New York and surrounding areas is supported, with stipends available to assist with travel hours and transportation costs ( van, train, gas, tolls, rideshare, etc.).

This is a strong opportunity for individuals with hospitality, customer service, or event experience seeking consistent, multi-day event work in a professional environment.

Event Schedule

  • April 7: Training (afternoon)
  • April 8–10: Event days
  • Preferred availability: April 8 & 9

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Guest check-in and registration support
  • Badge scanning and credential distribution
  • Ushering and directional assistance
  • Help desk and attendee support
  • Maintaining a professional, guest-focused presence
  • Following supervisor direction and assigned stations
  • Supporting overall event flow and operations

Assignments  may vary based on event needs.

Job Requirements

 

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable using basic event technology (check-in systems, scanners)
  • Ability to remain standing and active for extended periods
  • Availability for assigned event dates (priority given to full availability)
  • Ability to respond promptly to scheduling and onboarding communication and remain engaged through the confirmation process

Uniform Requirements

  • Black slacks
  • White button-down shirt
  • Black tie
  • Black non-slip shoes (leather or leather-like)

Professional attire support is available if needed (excluding footwear).

Compensation

  • $25–$27 per hour (based on experience and role assignment)
  • W-2 employment
  • Travel stipend provided to assist with transportation costs
