Job Responsibilities

Prepare and portion ingredients according to event menus and recipes

Assist chefs with basic cooking tasks, garnishing, and plating

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized prep area

Label, store, and rotate ingredients following food safety standards

Assist with setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after events

Represent Five Star with professionalism and teamwork at all times

Job Requirements

Professional appearance and punctuality

Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen

Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

Availability for weekend and evening shifts (weekday availability is a plus)

Reliable transportation is a plus (not required)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a prep cook, line cook, or in food service is a plus but not required
